Hi everyone, thank you for your feedback. Autodesk is testing several different types of subscription based licensing and pricing models at the moment. A key part of our strategy is making our software more accessible, whether through initiatives like Maya LT or this one. This is why we are testing new business models on some of our newer products like Fusion 360 and Stingray. It is too early to say whether (or not) they can be applied more broadly, or how well they apply to other industries which may have significant differences (For example in M&E there are a lot of freelancers who typically work for non-startups on projects). We will continue to keep track of these kind of requests as we continue to transition our business, so thanks for the feedback and keep them coming.

Thanks for your comment as we value all customer feedback. The Design team makes great effort to address as many SATs as effectively as possible. Please note, however, that Maya's user base is very large and we may not always prioritize what is important to you from time to time. The SATs are our way of ensuring our prioritization is correct based on the collective vote. We also use this tool to force users to use their votes where it matters most and return them to the users when we have addressed their issue. We welcome your future comments and rest assured our intention is not to upset you. Best!
