New Outlined Selection Hightlighting
Mayas default wireframe selection highlight is sometimes distracting, I think it would be smarter if we can get the same selection highlight like in Unreal Engine 4, new Blender 2.8 Evee or 3ds max.
A colored outline is by far less distracting if you animate or deform the shape of an object than the always visible wireframe. And the always on selection wireframe should be disabled or at least toggleable, so poeple which prefer it the other way around can change to the old method.
The benefits of this method would not only be the less distracting overlay on the surface of the object but also a much cleaner and better look and feel for the assets/characters/...
